DK wants to officially welcome Nina Buitrago to our pro team. We have come to know Nina over the years, her having done shows with the stunt team and feel she is a perfect fit here. Nina has the ability to shred and even more ability to inspire. We are incredibly excited to have Nina on DK. Teammate Brian Kachinsky says it best: "Nina has amazed me over the years. Dirt riders who are looking for an excuse to go on a road trip should check out the Austrian King Of Dirt. The event is coming up soon ( 1-2 June). and it's in Austria, not Australia. Many pros have visited the event in the past and also this year loads of riders are expected. We've nicked two photos of the trails from their website to give you an indication on what's waiting for you.

FELT BMX brand manager Alan Foster informed us that the ticket for Scotty Cranmer to go to the BMX Masters in Cologne, Germany has been booked. It will be Scotty's first presence in Germany and if you have been following the bigger comps you know what Scotty has to offer. We've got a link for you of the latest Scotty movie. It explains the recent FELT BMX ad a little better.

NEW YORK – May 21, 2007 – The AST Dew Tour, the world's premier season-long action sports tour, today announced the creation of a new national charity initiative, AST Drops In. In each AST Dew Tour host city, AST Drops In will work with local charities to introduce disadvantaged children to action sports, providing donations of equipment and funds to incorporate action sports into their daily activities.

Through a relationship with Charity Folks, a leading online marketplace for nonprofit fundraising, the AST Dew Tour will auction off memorabilia and experiential items from Dew Tour athletes and partners. All proceeds from the online auction will benefit the host city’s selected children’s charities. 

It's just about half way through the ABA BMX Nationals series and the team battles are really starting to heat up. There seems to be a lot of jockeying by the teams for position and setting themselves up for the late season push for the ABA Titles and their piece of the more than $27,000 ABA is putting up for the year end awards. Here is a look at the ABA team standings so far this season.

Muskoka Woods and Ten Pack would like to invite you for a weekend of BMX and camping in Ontario’s beautiful cottage country. The amateur only contest will take place on June 9 and 10, 2007 at Muskoka Woods Camp. There will be a pro demo put on by Ten Pack pro riders at the end of each day. Several bike shops will be on site with tons of gear and parts for your bike. The weekend will end with a free barbeque for all signed up riders during the awards presentation.

MONTPELLIER, FRANCE - Mark Webb (GBR) began his Braun cruZer Tour title defense, winning stage one with an impressive performance at the Nokia FISE festival in Montpellier, France on May 19. Perfect weather and a stunning location on Montpellier's river side brought 20,000 spectators out to see a multitude of events, including the finest display of BMX riding ever seen on the Braun cruZer mini-ramp.
