Now if you would ask what the new trends are in BMX after visiting the Eurobike show in Germany I'd have to say the following: Big Fat tires on the street bikes. Front and rear. Even up to 2.3 in the back but that Eastern tire looked even bigger. Heat treating is out, the frames won't last forever. Colours? Sure there are some but most companies go by a solid frame, with colour coordinated parts. It's the last year for purple to be cool. Saw a lot of orange (yes!). Brakeless bikes for street almost everywhere. Companies are still saving on weight left and right and in general the bikes are getting better and better. Check 'em:
