All of Redline’s longtime distributors--Sunex (France), Rabbit BMX (Germany), Padded Cell (UK), ZZK (Latvia) and Bike Depot (Norway), will continue as a valuable part of Redline’s distribution partners in Europe.
Since Redline’s inception in 1974, their bikes and accessories have been in great demand all over the Globe. Just this year, Redline Bicycles became the Official Bike of the German National BMX Team, thanks in part to Rabbit BMX,. The French Redline team, assembled by Sunex, recently won at the French National Championships and placed on the podium at the European Championship Finals. Redline also helps sponsor the No.1 ranked Elite Men in both Italy and Norway. In America, Redline’s race efforts are lead by the reigning 2-time USA National Champion and 2005 UCi World Champion Bubba Harris.
”We are very excited about expanding the reach of Redline throughout Europe,” commented SBS president Chuck Hooper. “We’ve always had a presence in the BMX market in key areas, but adding larger, sister-companies Batavus, Winoura and Lapierre will ensure that Redline’s are available to areas who never before had access to the most popular brand of BMX race bike.”
With BMX Racing making its debut at the 2008 Olympics in China, the timing for Redline’s expansion in Europe couldn’t be timed any better. Redline Bicycles will be attending and displaying at EuroBike this September. Their ’07 range of bikes will make its World Premiere as part of the WINORA booth (Hall B-1, No.407), where they will be showing 34 of their new models.
Redline Bikes will be available from are Batavus, Winora and Lapierre as early as November 2006.
