Roots Jam 2005, the 8th Annual, will be held in November this year in Sunny Orlando Florida. Save the dates for November 11, 12, 13. We will have a confirmed spot in May and will be able to tell you all the new things the comp will be hosting. This could include a new division as well as upgraded ramps, live music, and much much more.
As usual
SOUL BMX Video also has the Quickspin mix section thrown in for good measure, which features scenes and comps from Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland, Canada, the USA, the UK and The Netherlands. There are also various bonus sections, which include the King Of Concrete in Southsea, England, the F.I.S.E. comp in Montpellier, France, a slideshow, an extended edit of the "Tourne Slave" and the infamous MC Rob from OZ.
The latest news for Orlando riding spots is the new
Mesh Skatepark. Word is that Chad Degroot’s Mission skatepark “meshedâ€? with Sanford’s Metro Skatepark last month. The new park will host a skate and bike section along with plenty of spectator space. The skate section is now open and the bike section should be along shortly. For more info, go to www.meshskatepark.com. In the mean time, Mission skatepark is still open for sessions until Mesh is finished.
