Woodward at Copper steps up offerings with a new twist on progression with the addition of a BMX camp which started Sunday, June 15. BMX Campers will have access to an on-site foam pit and indoor park, pump tracks, outdoor bike parks, and dedicated dirt jumps at Frisco Bike Park.“With the remodel of the Woodward at Copper Barn, Copper’s 19,800 square foot indoor training facility, we have opened the door for BMX’ers in the central United States to experience the fun and progression a Woodward Camp offers” explains Steve Swope,
Woodward’s VP of Marketing and Events. “We have created both entry level more advanced foam pit jumps as well as a skatelite pump track.”
Woodward Head Ramp Designer and Pro-BMX Rider Nate Wessel headed up the Woodward at Copper Barn remodel, and took some time to talk about the exciting renovations.
Pro-BMX rider Adam Baker will be on staff working with campers during summer camp weeks 5 and 6. Woodward is also lining up other visiting pro-BMX riders and product giveaways throughout the summer to sweeten the deal. If that wasn’t enough, GoPro is giving away five summer camp scholarships through the Woodward at Copper GoPro Contest.
