Fox Racing first opened their doors in 1974 and catered exclusively to the sport of Motocross. Always remaining a family run business they have slowly branched out into other markets such as BMX, Surf, Snowboaring and casual wear. Constantly innovating they have a new goggle out manufactured by Oakley as well as a shoe line and carbon fibre knee braces. I recently paid Fox Racing a visit at their HQ in Morgan, California. Walking around their HQ you see some pretty cool sights.

As you walk into their reception area you are greeted with their museum. The museum includes the very same bike that
Travis Pastrana back flipped into the San Francisco bay ,
Donny Schmitt's 1991 Chesterfield Yamaha ,
Ricky Carmicheal's racing pants where his footpeg went through and stabbed his leg and
Doug Henry's chest protector from his 1995 Dallas Supercross win still caked with mud.

The purchasing, design and rider support departments are all house at their HQ with a second office based in Southern California. As well as Fox Racing their HQ is also home to another brand, namely Shift Racing. Most of the staff are involved in at least 1 sport that Fox supports. As I was walking around what looked to be a new intern was being broken in by being made to wear a set full Shift road racing leathers.
At the back of the office block is the huge warehouse with rows and rows of products on shelves. From there orders are shipped to locations all over the world. In a foyer back on the ground floor sits a
David Bailey One Industries replica Honda - this is the bosses bike.

How many bosses out there would ride a dirt bike during their lunch break!? Walking around you will see a poster of every rider they have ever sponsored including a lifesize
Allan Cooke in the warehouse and
Dave Mirra photos upstairs.
In 2007 Fox BMX is no doubt fielding its most influential team to date ranging from the sports icons to new school shredders. Check out www.foxbmx.com for the latest updates and coverage of the recent Pedal to the Metal tour.
