This is a physical role so applicants must be confident in working an 8-hour day on their feet; though there is no heavy lifting and we do not use forklift trucks. We are a growing business and most of our team members started working in the warehouse so we consider it the best place to learn about everything we do; we stock tens of thousands of products so it is an excellent place to learn about business and the importance of stock management.
No product knowledge is required.
Training will be provided.
Principal Areas of Responsibility:
-Picking and Packing Orders (95% of the time). Daily. Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and diligently to follow processes. Must have good communication skills to work with others in the warehouse.
-Cleaning (5% of the time). Clearing work areas of unused packaging and debris. Daily. Must play a part in maintaining a clean and safe work area
Expectations, Performance and Development
We will agree a set of performance indicatorsor objectives, which will form the basis of regular reviews. Success will be judged on the speed that you pick and pack orders as well as being able to work as a team and maintain a positive attitude. We will have regular catch up sessions to review performance.
