To strengthen their team, wemakethings are looking for a BMX Product Designer (m/f/d)

Requirements:
-Although not essential, designing and developing bicycle components in 3-D programs would be a huge bonus, however – focusing on form, function, and aesthetics and working with product designers is what we require most.
-Collaborating closely with international suppliers to ensure the feasibility and quality of designs.

-Creating comprehensive technical documentation for production.
-Ensuring quality standards and product safety.
-Conducting digital mock-ups and functional analyses to validate designs.
-Understanding BMX trends in product design and able to identify solutions to problems easily.
-Working together with Professional team riders to create a collection of signature parts.
-Able to supply technical spec sheets and have a keen eye for spotting errors and a methodical approach.

Qualifications:
-Passion for bicycles and bicycle components, with a deep understanding of bicycle design principles.
-Strong creativity, teamwork and an eye for detail.
-Proficiency in CAD programs, preferably SolidWorks. (Although not essential)
-Good English skills for effective communication with international suppliers.
-Convincing communication skills and ability to work independently.
-Willingness to travel.
-Several years of professional experience in product design, preferably in the bicycle industry or a related field.
