The overall top 100 Hookit Rankings from January 2014 has some surprising BMX-ers on it. Actually it has a name on it that I've never heard of, on spot 100. Some Adam dude. Aaron Ross has worked some social media activity to become the #1 BMX rider on the list this month and it was a surprise to have Simone Barraco on the list. Main, Guettler and Reynolds are the other BMX stars making it on the Hookit list. Check what place they got in January 2014.

At Athlete Recovery Fund I have worked a very dedicated and hard road to establish support for pro's who are injured in BMX, Skate and FMX. In the past 6 years ARF has raised over a million dollars in one of the toughest economies ever seen. ARF has helped numerous pro's and their families with many different levels of injuries and even death.

As one person knocking on the same doors year in and year out ARF is ready to expand. I was recently contacted by the great people at Road 2 Recovery (R2R) who helped guide us through the startup process of becoming a non profit and I am very excited to say that we will be joining forces in 2014 and beyond. R2R has supported professionals in Motocross and Supercross since the year 2000. 

The BMX Racing Group has been busy with the arrival of their 2014 Chase complete bikes which are now available in many new sizes. Because of the busy times, BRG are looking to expand their staff.

The Hookit Index tracks real-time fan engagement and exposure of pro athletes active in social media. Every fan interaction earns a point used to calculate an overall score. Some BMX riders make it in the November 2013 top 100. The entire USA Nike team for instance except for the number one Nora Cup rider Dennis Enarson, who is a little less active on the social media front than riders like Aaron Ross, Ryan Guettler, and Mike Escamilla. The list mistakes MX world champ Tony Cairoli for a BMX rider so if you don't know who the hell he is, he's that handsome boy from Italy. Look who makes the top 100 this time.
