With the announcement of Tony Hawk and all new Vert ramp, NASS is proud to announce the introduction of BMX Vert and Skate competitions. Some of the biggest names in BMX join an all-star cast to battle it over a weekend of the best in class for BMX Vert. UK BMX Vert Series 2014 Pro Champion Mike Mullen will be joined by a slew of incredible riding talent, including 2013 winner Paul Meacher, Fabien Giess and Declan Brooks with many more riders still to be announced.
This sees a welcome return for the Vert ramp to NASS and Mike Mullen and Co have the pleasure of being the first to drop in on a brand new build ramp for the occasion. Each rider will be looking to claim their slice of the £2,000 prize pot and to ride away with the claim of being the NASS Pro Vert BMX Champion.

When's the last time you saw 100 of the best BMX Pro riders ride a contest? You'll have to be in Tallinn on 18-19 April to see it happen. The live feed will only show the finals so if you're not there in person, you won't be seeing it live. More reason to get to Estonia for a weekend of BMX fun. The pro list is insane. Harry Main signed up, Aaron Ross the boss, Devon Smillie, Ryan Nyquist, etc. Dutch fans won't be seeing a high fufanu from Daniel Wedemeijer in Tallinn as he is injured and won't ride. Roy van Kempen will be there instead. Just read through that list one more time and see who you're predicting to make finals.

The first round of the UK Park series that Zach Shaw and Chris Job are putting on will be held the same weekend as Simpel Session. For those who can't make it out there or get entered, the UK BMX Park Series might be the right solution. Round one will take place at Area 25 in Ipswich and has an Under 13 class, Am and Pro categories. Saturday 18 April is the day. You pay the entree fee for the park and enter the contest for free.
Round 2 will be held at BeastRampz in Manchester on May 23rd, with the Final round at Mount Hawke in Cornwall August 29th.
Date for round 2 of the Vert Series coming, final round is Sunday August 30th at Mount Hawke.
Awesome to see that people with a big BMX heart are keeping the comps alive for those who feel like getting together and show what they've learned on their bikes so far.
The competition at NASS has taken on unprecedented new levels with some of the biggest names in BMX joining the contest and the south qualifiers also being confirmed. Daniel Sandoval from the United States will be joined by Daniel Wedemeijer, Kostya Andreev and GB’s own Alex Coleborn and Ben Hennon.
