Redline/Dvide has wasted no time in recruiting immense talent, having added elite riders Alec Bob and Connor Eaton to their roster which is still being fully developed.
Alec Bob is a force to be reckoned with on and off the track. He competed on four Collegiate National Champion teams and ranked number one in his age class globally in 2017. He was awarded the Warnicke scholarship by the National BMX Hall of Fame Committee, an honor only afforded to elite athletes who demonstrate true professionalism, and possess a solid potential for a National #1 Championship and Olympic qualification.
Nikita Ducarroz, reigning European BMX Freestyle Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist, is the latest addition to Riding Culture’s team of high-profile athletes. The 25-year-old BMX park rider joins top riders like FMB Slopestyle World Tour rider Lucas Huppert and world-class skateboarder Jonny Giger on the team of the Swiss brand of ultra-durable jeans and apparel for mountain biking, cycling, skateboarding and BMX. The Mandurah Mazda Action Sports Games (MASG) presented by Drug Aware, will go ahead as planned at Hall Park and Mandjar Bay on the picturesque western foreshore of Mandurah, Western Australia in March 2022. The Mandurah Action Sports Games combines Wakeboarding, Skateboarding, BMX Freestyle, Scooter, and the Apex Imaging Freestyle Motocross (FMX) demonstrations and athletes will be competing for an overall combined prize pool of over $20,000 in cash and prizes.
Due to current COVID border restrictions, the event’s focus will be to attract the best Western Australian action sports stars to Mandurah. Mandurah has stunning beaches and pristine inland waterways making it the perfect location for this world class action sports event.
Today, etnies welcomes Miki Fleck to the pro BMX team. Miki calls Barcelona home, and he made a name for himself with a fast, aggressive, and raw style that is unique in BMX street riding today.
Miki joined the etnies flow team back in 2018, and he’s run many styles of etnies shoes over the last four years. He’s currently riding in the etnies Marana, which he likes for the 3x more durable Michelin outsole, padding and protection.
His riding has consistently progressed every year, and it looks like 2022 will be a strong year for him.
USA BMX is pleased to welcome ten new team members filling various roles at the amazing new Tulsa headquarters. The new complex features the Hardesty National BMX Stadium, the Nation- al BMX Hall of Fame and Museum and the new headquarters of both USA BMX and the USA BMX Foundation. New hires include facility General Manager, Hardesty National BMX Stadium Track Operator with additional positions within USA BMX and the USA BMX Foundation in brand marketing, operations, special events, and community relations. The ribbon-cutting and Grand Opening event will take place on February 15.
USA BMX - the largest BMX racing organization in North America - announced today the 2022 USA BMX Freestyle Amateur Series has partnered with Hyper Bicycles for a second year. The USA BMX Freestyle 2022 schedule will consist of seven national events and one Grand Final competition where membership and pre-registration are required for both.
“Hyper Bicycles has been supporting the BMX industry for more than three decades, and to have them on board for a second consecutive year for the BMX amateur series, is a per- fect fit,” said USA BMX Freestyle President, Shane Fernandez. “Hyper Bicycles signed on last year for the inaugural event not knowing how a first-time contest series would end up, but believed in the same vision and hope of helping to progress the sport of BMX. Simple Session 22 will be back in Tallinn, Estonia, on June 11-12, 2022 with another big summertime festival and an all-around good time! The Simple Session series will host an exciting contest in the Põhjala Factory district – an old rubber factory turned into a cultural hub will serve as a thrilling location for the event. Around a hundred of the finest BMX riders and skateboarders from around the world will go head to head on a new 600m2 Wessel-designed course. Skateboarding and BMX are all about creativity. So is Simple Session – hosting the series at the coolest and liveliest venue in Tallinn will take the entire contest experience to another level for athletes and viewers alike.
