USA BMX - the largest BMX racing organization in North America - announced today the 2022 USA BMX Freestyle Amateur Series has partnered with Hyper Bicycles for a second year. The USA BMX Freestyle 2022 schedule will consist of seven national events and one Grand Final competition where membership and pre-registration are required for both.
“Hyper Bicycles has been supporting the BMX industry for more than three decades, and to have them on board for a second consecutive year for the BMX amateur series, is a per- fect fit,” said USA BMX Freestyle President, Shane Fernandez. “Hyper Bicycles signed on last year for the inaugural event not knowing how a first-time contest series would end up, but believed in the same vision and hope of helping to progress the sport of BMX. Now that we know how successful that first year was, we couldn’t be more excited to see what 2022 brings for the riders and the sport alongside Hyper.”
“Hyper Bicycles is proud to continue our support of the 2022 USA BMX Freestyle Series following a
successful inaugural series last year. USA BMX has greatly increased access for all riders to competitive BMX Freestyle with this series. We realize how much this means to the community of BMX riders, families, and local bike parks and cannot wait to be back this year and continue our support of this amazing series.”

“America is one of the birth places of BMX freestyle, it’s fantastic to see those roots being reborn in the USA BMX freestyle series. This gives people the opportunity to have fun, make friends, learn how to compete, and potentially take the road to being the next Olympic champion. In my journey to Tokyo the smaller contests played a huge roll in teaching me valuable lessons and building my confidence. I’d love to see this series, in partnership with Hyper BMX, inspire that next generation to take steps to being their best; on and off the bike.”
