The AST Dew Tour today announced Dave Mirra as the winner of the PlayStation(r) Pro Moment Award from Orlando's PlayStation(r) Pro. Voting began on Monday, October 20, the day after competitions ended. Fans selected Mirra for his impressive no-handed 360 backflip, a trick he calls the air traffic controller.

"I'm so stoked to have won the final PlayStation Pro Moment for the '08 season," Mirra said. "It's been a great Dew Tour season and it's an honor to round out the year with the award."

Mirra faced stiff competition for the PlayStation(r) Pro Moment Award. Other Pro Moment nominees included:

* Ryan Nyquist (BMX Dirt), displayed his mastery of the technical barspin 720 when he pulled off the trick during the BMX dirt finals.
* Simon Tabron (BMX Vert), landed three complete revolutions to pull off a 900 on the vert ramp at the Orlando event. 

JRM Racing will start its 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship campaign at the 2nd race of the 2015 season in Hockenheim on 1-3 May. The British team will field a brace of MINI RX cars for American drivers Dave Mirra and Danny Way in Germany.

JRM recently announced it would tackle selected rounds of this year's World RX series as it develops its 1.6-litre MINI RX.

Mongoose Bikes, a brand of Dorel Industries, Inc. today announced the addition of pro rider Pat Casey to its BMX team. Casey will join fellow BMX pros Greg Illingworth, Kevin Peraza, Paul Ryan, and Ben Wallace to form the 2016 Mongoose BMX Team. “I’m honored to be part of the Mongoose team,” said Casey. “When some of my friends, now teammates, asked me if I would be interested in joining the team, I was ecstatic. At the end of 2015, Swiss protection brand TSG opened an office in the US. In 2016 they also add a new US team rider to their roster. From now on, BMX pro Josh Perry will use TSG helmets and protection. Josh is well-versed in the field of safety and protection. When he was 21, Josh was diagnosed with a brain tumor that had spread over large parts of the left side of his brain. That day abruptly ended his “normal” life as a BMX pro. The tumor was removed during a seven-hour operation, returned twice, and was the decisive factor in Josh questioning and realigning his life. His main focus remains on food. When Josh changed his eating habits he realized how much energy and self-healing is possible with the right diet. 

The 20th edition of the FISE World Montpellier will start on May 4th until May 8th in Montpellier - France. The biggest extreme sports event in the world will take place as usual on the banks of the Lez river in the city of Montpellier in south of France on the weekend of ascension.

Traditional disciplines will be represented, BMX, skateboarding, mountain biking, inline skating, wakeboarding and more... The best athletes in the world will be waiting for you to make the show as well as the highest level of competition.

Since 2014 FISE Montpellier is the French stage of the FISE  World Series tour that went through France, Andorra China and Malaysia. The new 2016 destinations will be unveiled at the press conference in Paris on March 24 . Also note that this year FISE World Series host the first "2016 UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup".

Things just got serious in Canada. Radio Bikes just added Dean Hartley to the squad through their friends at OGC and they couldn't be more excited. Dean has had a hell of a buzz around him as of lately and after a good recommendation from other guys on the team it was only natural Radio Bikes added him to the crew.
