The Red Bull Empire of Dirt final rider list is announced, and it truly is the very best who will be making their way to Newton Abbot, Devon, to compete in the World’s First BMX Dirt Slopestyle contest. The riders list is a ‘Who’s Who’ of international BMX, with 31 top all-rounders confirmed. Riders hail from the UK, USA, Australia, France and Spain; the list includes the Forte Brothers Kye and Leo, Corey Bohen, Gary Young, Chris Doyle, Taj Mihelich, Sergio Layos and more.

It has been announced that Scotty Cranmer, 2006 X-Games Gold Medalist in BMX Park, will be attending the BMXMASTERS in Germany. Scotty, 20 yrs old from Jackson, NJ is very excited about his first trip to Germany. "I feel very lucky to have the chance to travel to different parts of the world to ride my bike" "I have read about the Masters event in magazines and websites and even though it is in the middle of the busy season in the states, I could not pass up the opportunity"

Scotty's bike sponsor is Felt Bicycles which has two main offices, one in Germany and one in the USA. The Felt guys in Germany have been talking about getting Scotty to Germany and are glad that he is coming.

Michael de Wit aka King of Choq and Marek de Heus decided to make a little trip to the Arizona desert and check out the new Chandler Bike Park. Yes, you read it; bike park. This means no skateboards, fruitbooters or any other weird contraptions, just 20 inch bikes. In short the park is awesome, and has basically everything except for a full pipe: tons of hips, spines, sub boxes, transitions of all sizes and much more. Whoever designed it did a great job.

The BMX Feed site took me to the Fox website and I was stuck there for 20 minutes watching killer videos of their tour. The riders on the FOX team are awesome and with everyone together only good things can happen. It's not always about the big tricks either. Watching Chase Hawk, BF, Aitken, Bohan, Ruben and Joe Rich flow at the spots they visited is priceless.

Diamondback are looking for the newest member to there expanding grass roots team, the top riders from the BMX ammeter comp will go forward to ride for the Diamondback team. The winning rider will be given the top of the line Accomplice BMX, Team kit, have comps entry fees paid and could be used in promotional posters and the Diamondback magazine! Stop 1: Lohhof 16/17.06. Get ready for the kick off of this years PlayStation® The Champ Series on 16th and 17th of June in Munich (Lohhof to be exact), Germany. For the first time the tour will consist of four stops with four disciplines: park, miniramp, dirt and pool. It’s for amateurs and pros. Each contest will have a price money of 1500 euros, plus a PlayStation® Portable for the winners in pro and a lot of free stuff for the amateurs. Last year winner Mark König will try to get the title again since the overall winner will receive 2000 euros extra!
