After many, successful Academy programs hosted in Austria within the last 10 years this year's goal was to take the program a step further and evolve it into a globally executed project. Federal BMX is pleased to announce a series of limited edition collaboration seats with contemporary street artists. Both BMX street riding and graffiti share similar terrain and a desire to do something unique in an everyday environment, often expressing creativity illegally and against the constraints of time. This synergy combined with a mutual appreciation of each other’s skill and dedication meant this felt like the perfect partnership.
For the second seat in our current campaign we’ve teamed up with Aroe. If you’re not already familiar with Aroe, he’s an infamous graffiti artist from Brighton who has travelled the world creating freehand art pieces. His work can be viewed in his hardback book “Results not excuses” as well as on his Instagram @aroe_heavyartillery.
-Limited to 150

A new year means a whole line up of new events, ramps, friends, and good times will be coming your way from the Mullaly Bikepark Crew.
Last year was a great time, with a number of events, new ramps additions, repairs to old favorites, visitors from all over the globe, a NY Times feature, and a fun end of year event that brought out some of the most talented riders on the East Coast.
We are going to be starting off 2017 in style at the Tender Trap. This year we will be hosting a benefit photography show on Saturday January 14th with a number of images from Elias Williams, Jesse Carlucci, Oba Stanley, Joan Simon, Edward O'Connor, Albert Hunt, and Samm Wilson. Party starts at 6pm, with free Genesse Beer from 7-8pm courtesy of Tender Trap, followed by a dance party from 10pm til close.
As always all proceeds will be going to improving the park and creating more fun for the warm months. So come out and celebrate a new year of BMX based good times at TENDER TRAP - 66 Greenpoint
