went for a pre-noon session at a pretty ghetto ditch. There was some glass and some more dirt, gravel, etc but it was fun for sure. That place seemed like a self made, mad max style skatepark, LOL. Kevin Kalkoff and Bruno Hoffmann had some cool stuff going on there.
After that we drove to SD to a spot close to the ocean. It had this jersey barrier and some extra concrete support. It wasn't easy to ride at all but Gary, Hoang and Bruno had some cool ideas for it. And the view was just awesome too.
Next stop was the Mission Valley Skatepark - well, at least for 30 min riding cause we arrived late, the sun went down and the park doesn't have lights. But it was still alright though. Last spot for that day was a backyard spine miniramp of a SD local who's name I forgot unfortunately. Great vibe, some beers and a little riding too but everyone was pretty beat too so the very last stop was the hot tub!
Stay tuned for more San Diego!
