The level of riding is definitely rising because of this resi boxjump. It's actually the same one as the boxjump in the park so it's no big step to take it to the hard landing.
Riders came over from all over the Netherlands and Belgium. In the evening everyone had a chance to win something and you didn't have to be the best. Joeri took care of the mic and handed out the prices. Riccardo's girlfriend, Saakje Visser, came over with her Hot-Saakje-Dog-Bar and made some really tasty hotdogs, brownies and cakes for everyone. At the end we had a little Best trick session going on and we definitely saw some crazy tricks and crashes you wouldn't walk away from so easily with a hard landing. Boudewijn put up a short clip of Syo in progress of learning the backflip.
We saw some flipwhips from Nicky van der Veen and Channon Balorian during the day. Stuart Gibson, Channon and Nicky all wanted to do frontflips again since a long period of time. Stuart and Channon landed them, Nicky couldn't stick it this evening but I'm sure he'll get it soon again. Greg van Tulder backflipped and Daniel Wedemeijer 360 turndown'd the transfer from the spine to the resi. Dennis 'Skep' Keunen is back better than ever since his long time knee injuries. Roy Groenenwegen's Cliffhanger on his MTB pretty much shut down the contest. So many riders learned something new, it's just too much to mention here, sorry!
It was a great day, everyone enjoyed watching Simpel Session and got motivated. Thanks for everyone who came over. Thanks to Paul's Boutique, Vans, Pro-tec, Simple, Monster Energy, Snafu, FATBMX, The Building and Gemeente Eindhoven for the support!
Some additional info of our park: My dad and I almost paid everything ourselves so it's kind of private but we want to give everyone an opportunity to ride indoors. We're usually open on Fridays (19:00-23:00) and Saturdays (18:00-23:00) but it could be closed if we're not able to make it that day. Keep an eye for the opening times on 040BMXPARK if you want to come over so you'll not stand in front of a closed door.
