The place was born in January 2010 and on the first weekend of May the ever changing spot brought riders together for a session. Low key as usual and organised for a good time. The first laps on the pump track were made around 12:30hr and also the new section with doubles saw some action. It wasn't perfect to ride this soft new part but it was a challenge to see how far you could get. Before the next big dark clouds would move in we brought the program forward a bit making sure the riders went home with some prizes from the sponsors of the jam (Snafu, Monster, Nike 6.0). Once again a big box of goodies was emptied and pretty much everyone went home with something. First pair of 6.0 shoes went to Michael for doing a barspin (flyout) on the trick jump. Kick yourself in the head if you know how to do better and you weren't there. Lots of stuff went on for about 45 minutes and then the expected rain did show up. But instead of calling it a day, some riders kept riding, and riding, and riding. It was pure entertainment from this point on. Piggy back jumps, triple attempts, one guy layed down on top of the table top (in the mud) while an other rider jumped over him, did we mention belly mud slides? It was pure fun, and entertainment for those who had found a spot under the several EZ-Up tents to stay dry.
This big rain made an end to the jam. The spot had suffered. Time to clean up and start up the BBQ. Another jam down. Few more to go. Good times.
