Three-time Dew Cup champion, Daniel Dhers, 25, took home the win in the BMX park final to close out the finals action at the Wendy's Invitational. The BMX park final was a fight until the end for
Dhers with 15-year-old sensation
Brett Banasiewicz leading the entire competition. In true form, Dhers rose to the occasion and claimed first place in his final run, earning a 90.50 to edge out the young gun. Among his tricks, he threw out a 720 over the long box,

360 tabletop and double whip on the barrier. Friday night's BMX dirt winner, Banasiewicz of South Bend, Ind. placed a close second with a score of 90.38. In third place was Australia's
Andy Buckworth with an 89.63. Coming through Open Qualifiers in Chicago, this marks Buckworth's first time on the Dew Tour podium.

After winning in dirt and taking second in today's park finals, Banasiewicz is the first athlete since 2007 to make the podium in two different disciplines at one Dew Tour event.
"It makes me feel great winning here at the Dew Tour," said Dhers of Venezuela.
"Vegas will be increased points so anybody can still take the title, but this gives me more confidence that if I continue to
ride well I have a shot at the Dew Cup. I've won three, and I wouldn't mind adding another to the collection - especially this years, the award looks pretty cool." The four-day competition featuring skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross, is the third of five events on the 2010 Dew Tour. Over the four days, 51,973 fans experienced the Dew Tour at Portland's Rose Quarter. The Tour will continue on to Salt Lake City next month

and conclude with the Dew Tour Championships in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, October 14-17. Dew Tour Wendy's Invitational Sunday, August 15, 2010 Portland, Ore.
