“Today was such a fun contest and I can’t believe I won,” Payne said. “Salt Lake is going to be awesome; I can’t wait to ride the course!”
“Las Vegas was lucky to have the Gatorade Free Flow Tour stop at Skate City this year,” Skate City owner, Josh Lavietes, said. “It went off with ease, and in the 14 years I’ve been involved with skateboarding and BMX, I’ve never seen such an organized event. Thanks Gatorade.”
With the win, Payne earns an automatic bid into the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals that will take place at the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 16-19, 2010 at EnergySolutions Arena. The final chance to land a spot in the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals takes place this weekend, September 11-12, at Salt Lake City’s Rosewood park.
