were suprised with a wild card. The first one of those happy wildcard kids was Barry Kohne, who came in from Paris (France) to join the competition. The second wildcard rider was local Frank Elshof, who took a lot of hard slams in the qualifier. The judges know he could bring some fire in the final so they let him ride again. 
Nr. 12 was Arthur Curva, the local from Poland. He took some hard crashes and set some nice tricks. The pressure of the competition was a bit too much for him. Nr 11: Joost Challa, rode really well for a 15 year old kid. With original tricks and combo's he earned a final place. One for the future.
Nr. 10: Stylecat Tyson was flying all over the place and showed us the most dialed bike ever.
Nr. 9: My upcoming favourite Jeroen Kruiver blasted the spine, landed a decade and was lost in the roof for a few seconds. This guy has so much style and airtime, it was a good time to watch him ride. Nr 8: Street cat Jonathan Jansen from Rotterdam Barspinned everything you can barspin in the park. He had a good time with the Bbq and rode the whole competition with a smile on his face. The morning after the B.O.K he learned a little kid barspins on television, it's hard to be a pro.
Nr 7: Daniel Wijsmuller had fun on his bike. Flowing the park and don't care too much about the competition is his style. Always fun to see him ride. Nr 6: Local and wildcard winner Frank Elshof took some more crashes in the final. It was not his competition this year. But it is still impressing to see him ride and killing himself on the allyoop bar catch bar.
Nr: 5: the other wildcard rider was Barry Kohne. He flowed the park without a warming up. With a huge icepick he deserved the number 5 spot.
nr 4: Roy van Kempen (united) became number four and best trick winner with a bar to feeble 180 out to halfcab whip. With his lines and box of tricks he was a deserved number 4. nr 3: Stuart Gibson lived in Woodward this summer, and it showed. Lines, combo's and original tricks got him in the top 3.
nr 2: Channon Balorian, the winner from two years ago rode good. Really good. This year he chilled and rode his normal level to get the number 2 spot. and than trrrrrr. number 1, Syo van Vliet. A young guy with a lack of brains. The evening before the contest he "learned flairs" and in at the BOK he landed them. The place went crazy. Some solid runs with other big tricks did the magic to get him in first place. Congrats.
