The official day was over and with some prize money in the bank it was time to do some more shopping. Usually when you're at a contest you don't see much more than the airport, the hotel, the contest venue and the hotel bar or wherever the afterparty is taking place. There's little time to do something else. But with this Trick or Treat comp taking place on one day, there was time left to see the city. And in New york there was plenty to see. First of all Bruno got his teacher the promised postcard to keep the good relationship going. Might come in handy if you need to get some more days off in the future for similar events. B&H got visited as well and yes, the price money was spent on a new iPad. That 540 to fakie over the rail paid off. But next to the shopping we did the tourist stuff, from Times Square to the Brooklyn Bridge, from Wall Street to the statue of Liberty, from Central Park to tourist trap # 1; the Entire
Shit Building. The Brooklyn Banks are indeed fenced off which is a shame but there's plenty to ride in the city that never sleeps. It was Halloween weekend so plenty of people walked around in funny costumes. Cruise through the photos to get a little impression on NYC. We had an awesome time. For Bruno Hoffmann it was time to head back to Germany. School the next day. He can show off these pics to his friends on his new Mac toy.
