Crazy Chris put together plywood street ramps and got some local metal bands together to make the event complete.
Trying to get a good photo I wondered into the path of one of the stage speakers and got 50 decibals of California metal imprinted into the back of my head. Joey Garcia took a break from studying and hit the street course with the other riders. Most of the Solid bikes team was in attendance having traveled to the jam in their Megatour 5 RV.
The tricks and what was landed cannot compare to the fun everyone had. Escpecially since I did not see anyone spread eagle themselves Slayer style on the razor wire fence one of the ramps was propped up against.
Some riders found a makeshift rail at the back of the course which looked likely to be the inlets for a gas station. After a few grinds I could smell gas and situated myself on the other side of the course. A take off ramp was placed below the main bank and riders were hitting that thing super fast up onto the bank. Some people fell off their bikes doing that.
The weather was patented California blue skies all day and everyone had 20 inch's of fun. Thanks to Crazy Chris and his crew who put all the ramps and jam together. It was more fun than Paris Hiltons exercise video.
