YOUNG ENERGIES So you’re young? You have a message for your city? You want to be part of the conversation? Part of creating things? Young Energies awaits!
Since 2009, the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development has been sponsoring youth projects that articulate unique positions and play an active role in urban development. Young Energies takes it to the international level, gathering young people’s opinions, desires and visions for the city of tomorrow and presenting them to the public.
Join in, and show the world where the city is your city!
Young Energies offers you several different opportunities to engage with young people from around the world in a discussion about your city—to ask questions, build things, experiment and take a stand.
Young Energies is made up of three components:
• Short Film Competition
• Touring Reporters
• Summer Camp
The results of these three divisions will be presented to an international audience in early October 2012 at the Urban Energies National Conference on Urban Development Policy in Berlin.
