Roadtrippin´ through the Republic: The T-Mobile Local Sessions Tour turned the top German bmxers loose to shred the indoor parks and hang with the locals. Tobi Wicke, Senad Grosic and Alessandro Barbero were recently roaming the five BMX parks in Germany which are supported by T-Mobile, in order to check out the parks with the locals. The three riders travelled over 2000 km to visit the diverse locations in Emmering near Munich, Darmstadt, Grevenbroich, Aurich and Berlin to test the new park features intensively. The locals appreciated it and welcomed the riders with some positive vibes. The pros thanked them their way: Frontflip no-handers, Flip whips and Double tailwhips were only some of the tricks that the guys threw down. Additional support was given by:
Benny Korthaus, Mark König, Benny Paulsen, Timm Wiegmann, and
Björn “Bommel” Mager. Afterwards, the mauled bodies of the riders were refreshed with a free BBQ provided by the grill team who were along for the whole trip.
Senad Grosic:
“I would join a tour like that again at anytime. The week and the whole team were a dream. What I liked especially was that the locals were not only watching us, but we rode together and had a lot of fun.” Big thanks to all spots and local riders who have supported the T-Mobile Local Sessions Tour. The Local Sessions Tour was planned with the start of the indoor riding season. From the 9th to the 14th of October, the three top European riders Tobi Wicke, Senad Grosic and Alessandro Barbero were touring through Germany’s BMX spots: Emmering, BMX & Skate park Darmstadt, Abflughalle Grevenbroich, Playground Hall Aurich, and Roof BMX hall in Berlin. T-Mobile has supported the parks this year by building new obstacles and features.
