The 15+ Am class was the most surprising category for me and no doubt some of them will appear in pro category very soon. Pierre Tortereau (NOT TORPEREAU) with a huge footjam on the top of the wall, but also runs full of tricks, huge transfers with wide amplitude in the park.

He wins the am contest et we hope to see him defending his title in the pro category next year. In second, we find Titouan Simon we saw in dirt the day before. He pulled big tricks with his own style. Julien Thivet takes third and Matthieu Jalbert takes the fourth place with a nice whip transfer.

30 years and older:

In those finals, 4 riders more than 40 of age and we saw very good riding too. 40 years old Stephane “Shogun” Meneau takes the win with a huge banger trick, a Ninja Drop from the platform of the wall, backflip, superman air. Younger Remi Trouillet finishes second with a clean run, nice transfers, bus, 360 and 41 years old Stephane “Bones” Vervins takes third place with nice airs, 360 and a crazy whip transfer attempt.

All the riders, including Yoann Pasques, Fanch Villemin and many others really went big and we were all stunned by the level of those “old” riders.

Pro class:

The Sunday late afternoon is always eagerly awaited with the pro finals and we can’t say we’ve been disappointed. Mike Miller might not be a huge tricks rider, but he’s amazingly smooth and and goes high. Alex Prenveille got noticed with a first run where he went big in the park with huge transfers like this incredible wall ride from the curve to the inclined plane. Luke Padgett pulls a big flair more than 2m above the coping. Isaac Lesser scared us with a failed icepick attempt on the wall, he remained groggy 5 minutes and went on his bike again to pull it! La Rochelle’s Florent Soulas showed us again his worldwide unique style, riding sharp and smooth. Lionel Dejean almost pulled a flair drop-in. Maxime Degardin cleanly backflipped transferred from the box to the left curve. Nicolas Cambon is still in da place with a handplant on the hip.
