All German's hope was in the hands of 14 years old Bruno Hoffmann who tailwhipped all over the place to finish 9th. Look at the results and you'll know he had some bragging to do back in school. Alessandro Barbero represented Italy and tricked to 7th place. And then there were a few Americans (Mirra, Spinner, Laird, Young) and a Venezuelan (Dhers) who also brought something to the table.
Fronties, backies, 3 double whips, double whips on the wall, truckdrivers to tailwhips, man it's all coming back now. It was a pretty insane final with amazing riding on a course which was diverse and built on the water. The surface didn't have many fans but in the end the riders made it work.
