Govert Schonewille and Sem Kok are two riders who like to visit as many BMX dirt events as possible but they've got an awesome set up at home as well. Once a year it's time to head over to America, it's a little village in The Netherlands, where they have their trails in the woods, the BMX track and the indoor ramps. Luckily on Sunday the weather was great. This brought people out to ride and chill. The BMX track was sessioned all afternoon. It had artificial grass tarps on top of most jumps and turns which helps enormously with the maintenance

that's needed to keep the track running. It sure did suck up a bit of energy from the boys and girls out there but there was no race and plenty of time for mid session breaks.

Hidden in the woods are Sem's trails which keep getting better and better. The concrete berm was a nice touch and if you like hips to the left, it's time to go visit Sem soon as you'll like this place.

Towards the end of the day people started to get tired but did not want to stop riding. It's also when the camera came out of the car to at least get some shots. They don't represent the full day of riding in America as more riders were there and the pics were taken in twenty minutes. Then it was back for a few more laps, a bit of killer jumping and plain fun on the bike.

Every time we leave the place we kick ourselves for not going back there more often. Maybe we'll manage it this time before the 2015 BMX-America jam gets announced on Facebook.
