The crowd erupted into cheers as the riders attempted to one-up each other with combinations of hand plants, allie-oops and tail whips. In the last moment of his run, a hiccup caused Eggleston to fall behind Tabron in second position. Tabron then entertained the crowd with a series of back to back 540 maneuvers and a 900 spin, earning him the gold.
"The enthusiasm at the X Games seen today is truly amazing," said an enthusiastic Tabron. "You can feel the excitement everywhere. I had so much fun out there and I'm proud to take home gold."
