After BMX Pro Barry Köhne from the Netherlands hurt his foot on saturday, the Pro quali was cancelled and they only did a show. But on sunday the Pro and Amateur final were on the timetable. In the AM-class BULLS teamrider Patrick Windeck achieved the second position with tricks like Lookback and a Tailwhip. First place went to Thiemo „Gizmo“ Kolbe from Munich, who convinced the judges with a fluent run, including high airs and a Tailwhip to Tailtap.
As the host announced: „We start with the Pro-final“, numerous spectators came to the spine ramp at the 40.000 square meter big IFMA outdoor-event area and admired and cheered the spectacular tricks of the riders. With 360- up to 720-degree-Twists, Flairs, Double-Tailwhips, Lookback- or Barspin-Airs and Dowside Whips, just to mention some tricks, the Pros gave their best, since after all their was a total of 5.000 Euro pricemoney to be won. Already the favorits Phil Aller, Chris Mahoney and Tony Watkinson from England showed technical high-class runs. But as BULLS teamrider Mark Webb, who due to an injury actually didn´t plan to start, dropped into the ramp, spectators and riders freaked out. The BMX talent showed for example a Tailwhip to manual at the Subbox, a Barspin Air to Fakie and a Truckdriver over the Spine. But also the German Perry Petermüller from Munich could keep up with the high standart and showed extremly high Airs and a Doublewhip to Tailtab to Footjam. Tony Watkinson from England finally won the Bulls Spine Jam before Chris Mahoney and Marc Webb.
