Sunday after midday was crazy, with insane street, dirt and flat finals. As always in Pessac, it is the street which cloture in beauty! Everyone is still unanimous there on quality and originality of the street park ("that smashes serious") and waits to re-examine what it could see the day before in larger. We can note the prowesses of American Sean Sexton a brakeless super technique, ultra clean, riding with a disconcerting facility, Chris Doyle the one that we does not present any more with his widths of jumps, Canadian John Heaton technical and using the whole park, English Leon Perkins and Harry Main (elbow wounded for the finales), Dutchies Daniel Wedemeijer and Mark Vos who gratified us with 2 enormous tricks (pegs grind transfer on top of wall ride, and fufanu to bus on top of the highest bank in dedication with its compatriot Barry Kohne (winner of the Jam in 2006) injured and our frenchies not in remainder: Kevin Kalkoff, Alexandre Valentino or Joris Coulomb.
For the prize list, two American asserted itself in Street under the acclamations of the public: Sean Sexton, with his 3/6 condor fakie, carving flair, nose bump truck drive 50/50 to 360 out on quarter or bunny to hang five climbing curb during 10 meters !!! Followed by Chris Doyle and his unbelievable downside whip transfer, the tricks of the WE!
In dirt, French Patrick Guimez conquered the first place with a line flip turn down + flip No hand + flip whip; follow-up very near by Chris Doyle – 2nd again, subscribed to the second place, he promised to come back next year)! - with 3/6 turn down to 3/6 No foot can-can to 3/6 invert stretch.
The return this year was for the flat put at the honor by French, Matthias Dandois (18 years), which stole the 1st place to the former world champion Akira Okamura (Japan), which was placed only in second position! Raphaël Chiquet finished 3rd.
For this 10th Urban Vibrations edition, more than 13 000 spectators followed the universe of the urban cultures it was eclectic and rich!
