the favour of Logan Martin over Daniel Dhers with the slightest of difference which shows how close the title hunt was in 2016.
America's Colton Walker rode amazingly well to finish in spot three with a flip barspin to tailwhip, 360 double downsdie whip and a flair whip to barspin and more new aged tricks. BMX Freestyle park is progressing from event to event as Colton showed in Chengdu. Jeremy Malott (USA) brought two solid runs to the party and straight flipped into the quarter. He also did 540 flairs, 3 double trucks over the spine and 3-double whips like it was nothing. Maybe he's new on the scene but expect him to go big for next year. First place qualifier Alex Coleborn (GBR) ended up in 5th place for doing burly moves on the course combines with several tech tricks.
When the points from Chengdu were added to the overall ranking the top three looked like this:
1. Logan Martin (AUS)
2. Daniel Dhers (VEN)
3. Nick Bruce (USA)
The first UCI BMX Freestyle World cup is a fact and with Logan Martin as the overall winner we'll be moving into an exciting 2017 season with plenty of events on the calendar.
