The Frenchman convinced the five judges with a wide variety of tricks, a flawless run and particularly with the high degree of difficulty of the tricks he performed. The decisive trick for the win was the «Suicide Bodyvarial to Halfpacker». So far Dandois had only performed this hard and technical trick in video clips – now he managed to pull it off in a contest for the first time.
Dandois also won the ollie and the spin contest, making it a clean sweep. Second place went to Jean William Prévost (CAN) with Alex Jumelin (FRA) in 3rd. The youngest flatlandrider of the weekend was Sato Minato (JAP). While the 11 year-old failed to qualify for Sunday’s finale, he managed to win the coveted challenge cup as part of the Pacific Crew in Saturday’s Battle of Nations.
The next edition of the Bike Days will be held from May 4th to 6th 2018.
