In the amateur ranking the team Wer hat Ottmar gesagt? including David Theisen and Janek Wentzky took first place and won multiple-page coverage in the Freedom BMX Magazine. Second place, winning Pro-Tec Equipment, was taken by team X-Up Seniorenbetreuung with Ivar Herrling and his “chief geriatric nurse” Janek Wentzky. Due to an injury of Janek in the first run of the final, 9 year old Felix Prangenberg stepped in and bookmarked his name for future events.
The amateur Christoph Deeg won the T-Mobile Wildcard for the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds Dirt Session on April the 20th in Duisburg. He will be accompanied by the Pros Benny Paulsen, Mike Buse and Aze Etzold, who assured the last launch sites in the official qualification runs.
Even though the Local Support Dirt Challenge was the last of all action in the Abflughalle Grevenbroich for now, a new project is already in the schedule. Thanks to the BMX winning team and the backup of T-Mobile Local Support, the start of a new project “Abflughalle” will be eased for sure.
