Fickle wind and crowd on fire, Budapest have been definitively full of surprise.
As in the Men category where the favorite had been uncrowned, Hannah Roberts felt as well during the final. The seventeen years old outsider Lara Lessmann jumped on the opportunity and gave a second run full of grabs. Nikita Ducarroz adopted the same riding style than in Montpellier, fluent and committed, to reach again the second place. Even if the run of Hannah was really aerial, her crash downed her to the third place of the podium but let her keep the first one in the global ranking. Only 200 points are separating her from Nikita, so nothing is done yet.
BMX FREESTYLE FLATLAND CONTEST
Once again on the first step of the podium, Jean William Prevost confirmed his consecration!
As it started in Montpellier, the very creative style of the Canadian rider made the difference in Budapest. He has been challenged by the Japanese outsider Sasaki Moto and the French ambassador of the FISE World Series: Alex Jumelin. The fifth place of Matthias Dandois allows him to stay second on the general ranking, always followed by Benjamin Hudson.
Budapest smashed the settlement of the first step and shook well the usual rankings. Edmonton will be the last occasion to dig gaps in global ranking before the last stop in Chengdu!
