Sao Paulo, the real ones are concrete and on the X course they were made of wood, with a nice painting imitating the atmosphere of real street.
The first contact was nice, with gap, rails and stairs tricks, we got practice with many uninvited bmxers, enjoying the session with those who will compete, it was amazing, the ramps were full with hard tricks . After our pratice, the skateboarders asked to lower the handrail, which it make the subject funny for everyone we talked about it.
The format was made by 3 heats 7, 7and 6 people, that would ride in each ramp for 8 minutes. This format was very nice, for the audience, for me who was announcing, the tv but judges, they had a lot of work to do. Judges Fabiano Gigante, Andre Ribeiro and Mike Big Island, had to evaluate the riding but sometimes it's tough when there were three bmxers on the same obstacles at the smae time. They had to have a note pad to write down the tricks each rider did but they did a great job.
This venue we got in Sao Paulo for carnival parades, now hosted the X Games too, maybe next year we get more from this event, like dirt jump and park and flatland which would be wonderful.
