“It was fun, and everybody was killing it at the Free Flow Tour. I’m glad I came out on top,” Colla said after his win.
“With a trick list that reads: backflip tailwhip, 540 on a seven-foot quarter, flairs, downside whip to icepick and consistent head high airs in vert, you would have thought this was the AST Dew Tour and not the Free Flow Tour!” Rye Airfield’s general manager, Beau Lambert said after the contest. “Todays pros better watch out because these young bucks are hungry and crazy, or is that crazy hungry?”
With the wins, both riders earn automatic bids into the Free Flow Tour finals that will take place at the AST Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 11-14, 2008.
