The best riders from the semi final rode the final. The finals where the best ever, with dailed lines, big tricks and hard slams the crowd had an really entertaining evening.
7: Tim Frijters rode well, but after two years being in the top 3 it wasn’t his best year at Burnside. But he was still going wild. 540 barspins , whip to flat and some transfers where enough for the sunbaked etnies rider to end up seventh.
6: Roy van Kempen is dailed! Nice lines, loads of footjam combo’s and the best trick winner with a dubbel whip over the little jumpbox. Maybe it is because of the green jeans?
5: Barry kohne.nl, Holland’s trots, Flowing the place like always. High walltaps, big downside whips and good lines. With his “brother” Mischa on the mike Amsterdam represented.
4: Frank Elshof rocked his local park like he should. 360 whips, fufs to barspin, nice 360 combo’s and even a 720 and dubbelwhip try. Unfortunately he didn’t end up first, like last year, but he rode really well.
3: Virgil Persad, what can I say. This man his middle name is “style”. The little Amsterdam ripper is dialed. Doing tricks everywhere. Long lines including Allyoop 360 air over the hip, tucks, invirgels and 360 tables helped him to the third place.
2: Mark Vos, the man that doesn’t have t-shirt in his wardrobe. Huge tricks as always. The best wallrides in Burnside ever. Unfortunately for him he won the worst slam award this year. After a ruben wallride he slammed his had against a curb. We hope the curb is ok.
1: Channon “El Toro” Balorian is crazy. Impossible flairs, possible flairs, opposite whips right after a regular whip, huge 720’s over the vulcano. he deserved to win. The Roffa rider went home with some nice Etnies prices and wet, used helmets.
This was a quick version of the BMX B.O.K. at Burnside in Deventer , but the it’s al about the vibe in Burnside and it was the best. Everybody having a fun session, a few beers, stijltangen, and a good laugh. Thnx to etnies, burnside and everybody who was there for having a unforgettable day.
