If nothing is happening in your town, make something happen. With that attitude Timo van Lierop decided it was time to put on a miniramp contest at the local ramp three years ago. It has become an annual jam and it looks like it's only growing. With the Mini-FAT-JAM, the Tour Dur Laarbeek and the FAT-JAM happening in Aarle-Rixtel, the little town isn't short of happenings, but the more, the better. It keeps the scene alive and it still is better to session with a group of 20 than the usual crew of three.

The TIMOJAM has comps in skateboarding, inline skating and BMX. Beginner and advanced classes in those disciplines that have a good number of people entering. The pressure is low and it gives everyone an opportunity to enter a contest without any

fear. Some music was there, the PB megaphone took care of the MC-ing, some banners of the sponsors were put up and this year also a bit of dirt jumping and street riding was going on next to the miniramp. Riders made the best out of what was available and did not complain. It was another day back on the bike at the end of a school holiday in October. And that basically is the whole idea of the TIMOJAM. Back next year. Be there.
