Jaie who took out the event in 2007 backed it up this year to win again with a high scoring 1st run in the final that could not be run down by his competitors which included
Nick Cooper and
Cam Pianta who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Jaie who returned from his maiden season competing on the AST Dew tour in the United States this year said he
“felt the pressure” before the final, but was all smiles as the last of the riders who could defeat him came unstuck on his 2nd run giving Jaie the win.
“I’m stoked with the win as this gives me a good confidence boost going into the BMX games in Melbourne at the start of next year” Jaie said
