and I am very proud that we were able to excite 6.500 fans in Pinneberg-1.000 more than last year," said Lars-Oliver Vogt, head of the organizing agency Nice Productions.
In BMX Miniramp the Final Four turned out to be Mark Webb (UK), Ben Wallace (UK), Alessandro Barbero (ITA) and Sergej Geier (GER). Latter had to take slams in both his final runs, and therefore missed a place on the podium. Italian Barbero showed his usual assured sense of style and took his wide array of tricks to third place. Ben Wallace got second place with an advance of just 0.2 points. But one man turned out to be really unstoppable: Mark Webb from England! It was a perfect day for this 24-year-old ripper, and he made it clear from his very first run. His final run was graced by an Invert 360, Fastplant, and his best trick, a Lookdown Flair, which he put in a hight of approximately 15 feet. His audience and competition didn't have any words for that.
The additional Xbox 360 Contests went to 19-year-old Czech Ondra Slez. He delivered the most creative, difficult 360 in the BMX miniramp, putting Mark Webb and Ben Wallace behind him. All of them won an Xbox 360. All the highlights can be seen on DSF TV on September 5th, starting 09.30am, and September 12th, starting 09.15am!
