The results for the year ending Wicked Jam are in. What a gnarly contest. Packed into one of the sickest parks in the world, pros were throwing down some crazy stuff. Prelims were amazing. Too bad some guys who put on a show didn’t make it to finals.
Morgan Wade was transfering from one side of the park to another, but he broke his wheel and forks.
Anthony Napolitan and
Chris Gerber were going huge and doing some crazy bangers, incuding a flair whip from Gerber and a 360 indian air superman seatgrab from Anthony. Then came the finals. 12-10th
Zack Early, Chris Childs, and
Zane Bradley were at home in this park flowing through the course and going huge with great style and great lines. 9th,
Seth Klinger was his usual self, boosting everything and doing big tricks including flip whips and crazy looking 720's. There was a tie for 7th, between
Marcus Tooker and
Ronnie Napolitan. Either way, both guys killed it. 6th,
Brian Hunt crashed hard on a downside whip transfer, but got right up and like he says himself “hit ‘em wit’ it ”. 5th,
Brett Banasiewicz went huge and threw down some stunts at an intense altitude. 4th,
Nicholi Rogatkin
landed a 900 and a 540 whip. 3d, Jeremiah Smith had a great combination of technical and big tricks, riding with so much speed. It took Garrett Reynolds a few attempts, but he landed a 360 bar bar fakie over the 10 ft channel. Brandon Dosch was no doubt the best on the course, definitely deserving the win. Flowing and doing huge tricks making it look like he didn’t have an opposite side. Catfish’s announcing and music fired everybody up, too. In addition to that, pros had their own lounge with awesome food.
