Adam puts his Budapest spot to good use!
GAISF is delighted to announce that the Hungarian capital of Budapest will host the inaugural World Urban Games from 13-15 September 2019. The World Urban Games, powered by GAISF, promise to be the ultimate global showcase for a new generation of urban sport. Held every two years, the multi-sport Games will feature a wide array of events, including sports competitions, showcases, and demonstrations that fully embrace music, dance and urban culture. Among the sporting disciplines forming part of the World Urban Games Budapest 2019, 3×3 basketball, BMX freestyle and breaking* will all be included on the Tokyo 2020 and/or Paris 2024 Olympic programmes.

Professional extreme sports riders on bikes, blades and boards from all corners of the globe have joined together at the BudaPart - Kopaszi Gát park to showcase their skills and mix with local and regional riders at the inaugural FISE Budapest World Action Sports Festival. Qualifications began for amateur and pro competitors this morning on three different stages: Wakesurf and Wakeboarders cruising on the Danube River, BMX Flat riders and Skateboarders finessing tricks on the flatland platform, and the Roller and BMX Freestylers boosting on the gigantic ramp course. Budapest spectators both young and old who flocked to the park throughout the day were able to see some world-class athletes perform technical tricks, with even bigger runs to come.

Warmed up by the first stop of the FISE World Series in Montpellier, the riders are eager to participate in the second event in Budapest, from the 18th to the 20th of August in BudaPart - Kopaszi gát park. This tour is a World Action Sports Festival, which organizes amateurs and professional competitions in the following disciplines: BMX Freestyle Park, BMX Freestyle Flatland, Skateboard, Mountain Bike, Roller Freestyle. Each stops is the occasion for riders to performing for an overall ranking, which is rewarding at the end of each year the winner of the tour. According to the core soul of the festival, FISE events are also the occasion for spectators to discover action sports by many initiations and demos organized, as well as having a great time with friends or family by cruising the exhibitor's area and enjoying the spot.
