The BMX schedule is busy this summer. Vert rider Simon Tabron flew to the USA a weekend prior to the Worlds and won his first MSS contest. Here's a press release and the results of the vert comp.
British BMX rider Simon Tabron, one of the most accomplished riders in BMX history, showed up for his first MSS competition and promptly proceeded to pull a trick that’s never been landed in MSS history and earn top honors on the day in the process. The veteran rider astonished fans by landing a 900, an accomplishment only a few riders in the entire world can claim. Chicago rider Jimmy Walker earned the silver medal, while Jay Eggleston took the bronze medal, despite a nasty-looking crash left the Denver rider seeing stars for a few minutes.

Flatland at the Worlds 2005 in Prague, Czech Republic.
This year the Worlds were being held in the beautifull city of Prague
in the Czech Republic on the 1st-5th of June. Flatlanders around Europe were very enthousiastic about going to this year's Worlds because Prague is a cool city combining many cultural highlights with a solid club scene and a relaxed atmosphere. Plus you get to see the best riders in the world go crazy on their bikes! Perfect!
The floor
The flatland area was outside, no cover, so the sun hit the riders (and other people like the public and filmers like me) hard causing serious sunburn, profound sweating and severe thirst. The floor was made of wooden boards, some shifted a bit and it wasn't exactly level everywhere. A lot of riders complained about it, luckily the organisation recognized this problem so they ordered new wooden boards and the floor was to be taken out and a new one was to be put in. But then rain started on Saturday morning, so the whole flatland competition was moved to the street area which was covered and thus stayed dry. 
The last event that happened at the Worlds was Pro Street. With twelve rockers in the finals and a good street course it turned out to be a good one. Find the results here:

Not everyone had seen Koji Kraft ride miniramp before but if you know his style, it's trick after trick after trick until he crashes down. Koji stayed up long enough to impress everyone including the judges.

We're in Prague for the Freestyle Worlds and things are looking well. Loads of people made it and are enjoying the 25 Krone half liter beers. That's 80 Euro cents. The Swedish crowd is already drunk and supporting their homies from the stands in Master miniramp. The sun is out and the venue looks good with a wooden flatland floor, a street course with interesting obstacles, a dirt course with a 6 meter high deck to start off which is not for pussies. The mini ramp is the Braun one wth spine and sub box. The vert riders are riding the 16 meter wide vert ramp and is set up in the middle of a tennis stadium that hosts 7000 people.
We've seen the following riders around and we can't wait for the first pro contest later on today [miniramp].
