"Game of BIKE"-Turnier 2021 im Schlachthof BMX- und Skatepark Flensburg: das große Streetfinale. In der einen Ecke haben wir Angelo Kurtz, den übermotivierten @SIBMX-Fahrer, der sich auf dem Weg in die Endrunde nicht unbedingt neue Freunde gemacht hat.
Don't call it a comeback! After disappearing from the German scene for a minute, Radio Bikes rider Leon Hoppe is back with a new video that proves he's still capable of throwing down hammers. Check it!
On the final day of the Urban Sports Week Amsterdam, the Soulcycle BMX street contest was on the program. 35 riders in qualifying were shooting for a top 12 spot so they could ride the finals later on that day on the NineYards street course which had a bit of everything from ledges, rails, quarters, flatbanks, kinked rails, drops and a gap. It was to everyone's imagination to use the course the way they wanted to ride it and it was great to see the different styles. Leon Hoppe brought the tech with railrides to double barspin off to name one. Leon can ride anything so he added a couple of flairs for good measure. Reed Stark is a pleasure to watch because of the speed, energy and originality. That ice-pick to drop in was something I had not seen anyone do and Reed saw the possibility to feeble and smith
Straight after the PRO Freestyle contest in The Hague, we headed East, to the internationally renowned city of Rotterdam for 4 days of some of Europe's finest street spots. Despite battling the weather, the spots, and injuries, our German street machines Leon Hoppe and Robin Kachfi came away with one hell of a banger of a video which we could not be more stoked to drop today.
Low Profile - Leon Hoppe. Leon Hoppe is part of a new generation of highly progressive German riders who grew up in the web video era. Being constantly bombarded with daily injections of fresh BMX riding via the Internet, there is almost no trick that these guys hadn’t seen in a video, studied, learnt and then mastered over the course of a week, hungry for their next assignment on the Monday. Germany's highly active and tight knit scene has taught Leon that hard work pays off, and over the past three years since, we've seen Leon transform from that unknown “really good kid”, to one of the most dialed riders out there right now. With an uncharacteristically dry sense of humor (for a German), and an incredibly positive outlook on riding, Leon is one to look out for in the future.
