On the final day of the Urban Sports Week Amsterdam, the Soulcycle BMX street contest was on the program. 35 riders in qualifying were shooting for a top 12 spot so they could ride the finals later on that day on the NineYards street course which had a bit of everything from ledges, rails, quarters, flatbanks, kinked rails, drops and a gap. It was to everyone's imagination to use the course the way they wanted to ride it and it was great to see the different styles. Leon Hoppe brought the tech with railrides to double barspin off to name one. Leon can ride anything so he added a couple of flairs for good measure. Reed Stark is a pleasure to watch because of the speed, energy and originality. That ice-pick to drop in was something I had not seen anyone do and Reed saw the possibility to feeble and smith
