*Current City: Capalaba
*Sponsors: Colony BMX
*How long have you been riding for and how did you get into it?
I've been riding since 2004 when I was 17. Umm a friend of mine had just bought a bike and told me to buy one... I liked the idea so did, and just fell in love with it.
*What is your favorite type of riding and why? Park, Dirt, Street?
Park. I just feel comfortable on it and love the feeling of riding transition.
*Who has inspired you to ride? Or Where does your inspiration come from?
Everyone! Watching Alex Hiam start out and process to be such an amazing rider and is all round good bloke is probably the most Inspiring. It also just comes from working 8 hours a day and thoughts turning over in my mind about tricks to try and places to go.
*Is there a rainy season where you live?
Umm, I guess we get a bit of rain in summer, but it's normally only a few days and then it clears.
*What do you do when the weather isn’t working in your favor?
We have two really awesome indoor parks close by and a few undercover street spots that we'll hit up. Or just hang out and wait for it to stop.
*Do you travel a lot for BMX and do you enjoy it?
I don't travel as much as I'd like to. However the times I have traveled have been a blast and I've loved it.
*What’s been the best place you have traveled for BMX?
My favorites have been Vancouver, Canada and Salt Lake City, Utah
*What’s the riding scene like where you live?
It's awesome. Lots of parks and street spots to ride and heaps of great people to ride with, the only downer is too many people think riding a scooter is cool. It's not!
*Who do you usually ride with and where is your local spot?
My local spot is Capalaba skatepark but I hate it. Brisbane has a lot of cool parks so I tend to just go to a lot of different ones. I'm happy to ride with anyone that's keen to ride. Lately I've been riding with my mates Jack, Zac, Drew, Tom, Dan and the other rad boys.
*How did you first get sponsored?
I was out riding with Clint Miller and teaching him to no hander haha.
*How do you feel about BMX contests?
I love them. I love the vibe of everyone being in one place loving Bmx. Jams are more fun then comps tho.
*Favorite one?
All
*What are your plans for 2011 as far as contests go?
I really wanna head over for Jomopro and also to the Masters.
*Any injuries to report?
Not right now (touch wood)
*You recently did a How-To on RideBMX. How did that come about and what were the responses you received?
I was in Vegas for the final Dew Tour and somehow ran into Fat Tony and just started talking. I told him I was heading out to Cali after Vegas, and he ask if I'd wanna shoot a How-To, Was I so excited. Everyone that I spoke to, that watched it said they liked it and were stoked. I had a lot of Facebook requests the day after it came out haha
*What do you think the future of BMX holds for women?
I'm not sure, tho I hope it keeps moving forward and just getting bigger and bigger.
*What do you do when you aren’t riding your bike?
Working, hanging out at a bike shop, watching movies, swimming at the beach, at theme parks or having a good time with some mates.
*Working on anything new?
Yeah a few things.
*Tricks?
Secrets
*Videos?
Trying to film for the Colony BMX DVD right now and maybe a web edit in the future.
*Anyone you would like to thank?
Clint Miller for all the support. Renee Junga for always coming out to watch us ride and listen to me talk BMX way too much and all the other boys and girls I ride with. Love them all
