Ben: I think signing with any company who is wanting to support you is great for any rider. Mongoose have been in BMX a long time and know what their riders want. Them being an international company means that I get to travel and represent all over the world thanks to shows, contests and exhibitions they attend.
What bike are you going to ride?
Ben: Currently we are working on a frame for me to run which suits my riding style which is scheduled to arrive next week.
Who are your new team mates now?
Ben: Cam White, Paul Ryan, James 'Bruzza' Ivett, Oliver Evans, Phil De-Mattia and Greg Illingworth. A diverse range of style in riders which I think makes a good team. I haven't had the chance to meet them all yet but am sure we will cross paths in the near future.
What are the bigger comps you're planning on riding this year?
Ben: The biggest comps on the calendar at the moment are the Dew tours. Fingers crossed I will qualify again for both street and dirt. Last year I was lucky enough to be invited to some sick contests like the Nike 6.0 in Barcelona and LA and also the Telecom Extreme Playgrounds series; but we will see how things go.
