
Since the age of 7 I had an 18-inch BMX. I got a 20-inch when I was 14. Two years later,
I saw many freestylers in a famous park in Madrid. Since then I’ve been inspired by
freestyle every moment in my life.
Q.What’s your riding style?
A combination of flamenco dance and smooth movements make up my style of tricks.
Q.Any big influences?
Music, traveling, tournaments, aspirational riders, love, the sun, and of course…my girl.

When I started in 1997 BMX was real popular, but now it’s gone down a little. That’s why
I’m able to win at tournaments and represent my country.
Q.What was the highlight of your career

I found my girl thanks to my career. She herself is my highlight. If I never touched a BMX I
wouldn’t have met her. It’s like destiny. She always motivates me and supports me with my
goals.
Q.What is Red Bull Circle of Balance to you?
Red Bull Circle of Balance has a lot of meaning to me. It’s the top tournament for flatland
in the world and should be continued for the sake of sports. My dream is the Red Bull
Circle of Balance becoming an official world-wide championship.

I spotted some BMX riding going on at a park…just by chance.

I’m inspired by everything, including every athlete out there.

A spin where I land on my pedal for just a second.

The best. The Japanese have always kept a high level, and I think a Japanese will win this
time too!

I received the World’s No.1 Award two years in a row. I’m also the first ever to be ranked
first in Japan two years in a row.

It’s the contest that excites me the most, yet I haven’t conquered it yet. It’s the best stage
for BMX expressions. It’s the contest I want to win the most.

Q.When did you start riding?
Around 1994.
Q.What made you start?
Because it looked cool. Also because I wanted to be that person ripping it on a BMX.
Q.What’s your riding style?
My style is real relaxed and smooth. This way I feel like I’m in good control of my BMX.
Q.Any big influences?
In terms of riding, the older crew inspired me, the legends of flat, they kill it! In life...JC and
people who stand up for good inspire me big time, especially those who fight for animal
rights.

It’s pretty rad, some goods spots around, get hassled sometimes, not a lot. Not many
flatlanders though.

When I won the X-games in LA.

It means Red Bull puts on an awesome event, for the riders.
