What's so good about it?
Josh: Risto (organizer) knows what he is doing. Riders first, they really care to make everyone have a good time, good course, good parties, and relaxed atmosphere.
In what way does this European contest differ from the American ones?
Josh: Seems like these style contests allow riders to get alot more done because of the Jam format. Also, I think these courses make you have to use different ramps more and less of a back and forth mostly jumping style contest. I think it would be amazing if the X games tried the jam format to see what people are really capable of. The contests in america are super fun and amazing in their own way as well. They have to run it different sometimes because of TV, but I guess it's all helping BMX grow.
Can you explain how high 4,21 meters is?
Josh: 13.812336 feet. Just did the conversion.
What trick were you most stoked about in your final run?
Josh: Tail whip transfer from the 10 foot to a steep wedge kinda far away. I was looking at that transfer the whole time and first run in the finals just sent it and it worked. Figured a whip could work as well. It went well.
You ended your run with a bang, what's the score?
Josh: Broken Jaw and stitches in the chin from being lazy double trucking this hip after I was pretty much done. Shut the contest down on a bad note but overall it was an amazing time and was very excited to win.
Get well and see you next year.
